Juniper (June) Bahr

I'm a 5th year mathematics graduate student at UCLA. I completed a B.S. and M.S. in mathematics at Carnegie Mellon in 2017. I am available to work as a math tutor. Email me if interested.

My advisor is Dimitri Shlyakhtenko, and my research interests include operator algebras, free probability, and a bit of optimal transport.

I'm organizing a Queer Tea for LGBTQ+ (and allied!) math grad students and postdocs at UCLA. We're meeting Sundays at 2pm at this Zoom meeting and we have a discord server too. Email me for an invite or to be put on an informal mailing list for updates in case schedules change. I'd love to see you there!

Teaching

Expository

Here I'll post a few course-non-specific documents that may help explain some math concepts for students.

This stuff might have errors. If you catch anything, please let me know! I'm also happy to supply the LaTeX file to anybody who wants to take a look.
