Juniper (June) Bahr

I'm a 7th year mathematics graduate student at UCLA. I completed a B.S. and M.S. in mathematics at Carnegie Mellon in 2017. I am available to work as a math tutor. Email me if interested.

My advisor is Dimitri Shlyakhtenko, and my research is in operator algebras. In particular, I'm doing work with planar algebras, and have done a bit with optimal transport.

I'm a trans genderfuck dyke and I help organize a Queer Tea for LGBTQ+ (and allied!) math grad students and postdocs at UCLA. Meetings are once every two weeks on Sundays. Email me for more information or to chat about gender (this offer extends to everyone: professors, undergrads, grad students, postdocs, staff, folks unaffiliated with the university, anyone).

From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!

Expository

Here I'll post a few course-non-specific documents that may help explain some math concepts for students.

This stuff might have errors. If you catch anything, please let me know! I'm also happy to supply the LaTeX file to anybody who wants to take a look.
